Model Information page
If you are a model or an individual interested in a photoshoot with us please read our FAQ and if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.
Do I need to be a professional model to qualify for a photoshoot?

No. Previous modelling experience helps but it is not required. I have shot professional models, amateur models and every day women, men, teenagers, children, couples and groups as you can see in my portfolio.

In my experience I've found that there is always a suitable concept for every face. The only requirement is that you are NOT camera shy.

Be aware that I cannot say yes to every application as I have too many enquiries daily.

What do I get for the photoshoot?

Compcard ExampleI work on a TFP basis providing every single one of my models with:
- For models:
- 10 A4 printed images.
- A compcard so you can send it to modelling agencies.
- CD containing the edited images.

- For non models:
I give a 20 page 20x20 cm softcover photobook. Colors and style vary depending if you are a man, a girl, a child, a couple or a family. I also provide a few small standard 6 x 4 prints.
- CD with the edited photos

How much will the photoshoot cost me?

The photoshoot is absolutely free. Photography agencies charge between £600-£1000 for the same service I provide.

The only thing you are required to do is to sign a model release form. A model release is a document which enables me to sell the photos under a royalty free licence. You can read the model release form here.
Here you can read an important extract from the model release:

"By signing this release I hereby give the Photographer/
Filmmaker and Assigns my permission to license the Images and to
use the Images in any Media for any purpose (except pornographic or
defamatory) which may include, among others, advertising, promotion,
marketing and packaging for any product or service."

If you do not wish to sign the model release but still would like a photoshoot I can do it for £600 and you will get the same items already mentioned above.

What sort of photos will be taken during the photoshoot?

Generally I shoot business, fashion and lifestyle. You are welcome to come up with your own ideas prior the photoshoot. It is very important for me that you walk out of my studio with the photos you had in mind or better.

To see some samples of images taken during photoshoots you can view my photogallery section.

Where will my photos be used?

Photos sold under a Royalty Free licence are used in digital and print media including: magazines, newspapers, leaflets, brochures, websites and books.

The photolibraries I use to market my photos have strict terms and conditions for buyers in their TOS. Here is an important extract from one of the agencies terms of service for buyers:

" You may NOT use an Image in a way that places any person in the photo in a bad light or depicts them in a way that they may find offensive - this includes, but is not limited to: a) the use of Images in pornography; b) tobacco ads; c) ads for adult entertainment clubs or similar venues, or for escort, dating or similar services; d) political endorsements; e) advertisements for pharmaceutical products, including, but not limited to personal hygiene or birth control products; and f) uses that are defamatory, or contain otherwise unlawful, offensive or immoral content."

If you wish to read the full TOS of the main photo agency I use you can do so here

Can I get references from previous models?

Of course you can, I have shot 104 models without a problem and I am yet to see an unhappy face walking out from my studio.

Where do the photoshoots take place?

They take place in my home-studio in Blackheath, London. If you feel safer going to a public studio I can rent one in the area. You can bring someone along with you if it makes you feel safer and more confident. Having said that take into consideration that boyfriends/girlfriends are not always the most appropiate companion during a photoshoot. Parents/friends are always more cooperative and relaxed.

Do you provide a make up artist and a hair stylist?

Normally my models do their hair and makeup themselves but I can get a hair stylist on request for a £30 fee.
