Digital Photography magazine featured one of my car photos in their October 2006 Issue alongside some paragraphs written by me. Below the photo of the article I have written the English translation of the relevant text.

Photo 1: Corporate car
Photographer: Andres Rodriguez
Where: London
When: July 2005
Camera Used: Canon 350D
Lens: 18-55 mm
Software used for manipulation: Photoshop CS
Technique: levels and curves used to improve exposure, hue and saturation used to desaturate the colours.
Background buildings have an exaggerated perspective to give more depth to the image.
In this picture, I really loved the setting and environment around the car, I wanted the whole picture to reflect that scenario.
The corporate environment provides a business/expensive/luxurious background for the car portraying a scenario which is very familiar to potential customers who buy expensive cars.

I am a Colombian 28 year old male who has been living in London, UK for the past 10 years. I started doing photography when I was 14 years of age when I got my first little point and shoot, since then I have not stopped snapping away. However it was only two years ago that I took the courage of quitting my day job to become a full time freelance stock photographer; it has been the best decision I could have made.
I specialize in business and corporate images but cars have always been my passion so I take any chance I get to photograph those beautiful details of car designs. Cars are always an interesting subject as the reflections, textures and shapes are infinite thus providing a big range of styles and concepts for you to play with.
